USS LST 614 was assigned to the Asiatic - Pacific theatre of operations and she participated in the landings on Morotai (15 Sep 1944) before those American landings on Leyte (16 - 28 Oct 1944) in the Philippines, on Luzon (6 - 17 Jan 1945) and at Mindanao Island (17 - 23 Apr 1945). She was involved in carrying AUstralian personnel and stores to Labuan island from Morotai in late June 1945.
