War Service
Edward was initially enlisted in the CMF for a short time (5 Jun - 7 Jul 1940) before he was able to resign. At time of discharge he was posted to the Western Command Supply Depot.
Eighteen months later he joined the RAAF
discharged on 28 Oct 1944
