General Information
Raised around April 1941 as a 120 bed hospital to service the training camps adjacent to Ingleburn. Known originally as Camp Hospital Ingleburn in June 1942 it was renamed 16th Australian Camp Hospital. Thy continued to operate from thsi location ntil the end of the war although they were reduced to 90 bed capacity in mid-1944, and then 60 bed capacity in March 1945
