Douglas Stephen Whittall Gordon was born in 1912, possibly in Egypt or Turkey.
Military Service
According to the London Gazette dated 5 January 1940, on 5 September 1939 Douglas was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. His Service No. being 108574. He later attained the rank of Captain.
Marriage and Career
Douglas married Jocelyn Deidre Mercy Boyse in Nairobi, Kenya on 3 December 1949. On 28 February 1959 Douglas was appointed Licensing Officer at the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Kenya.
Electoral Roll
According to electoral rolls, Douglas lived at 24 St. Georges Avenue Kelmscott in 1972 and 1980.
Death
Douglas died on 11 January 1990 at the age of 78.
