11 year old Charles (Charlie) left London with his Mother, Florence and his 13 years old brother Edward, and 9 years old sister Ethel aboard the SS Armadale on 28 October 1913, arriving in Fremantle on 11 Dec 1913.

During 1929 Charles married Eileen Clare Oldham (1902 - 1992). Eileen died on 21 Feb 1992 in Mandurah.
War Service
