On 12 Jun 1943 she participated in a transport course, returning to her unit on 24 Jul 1943. Married, on 7 Aug 1943 she changed her NOK details, and then on 17 Aug 1943 she was charged with being AWOL from midnight 13 Aug 1943 until midnight 15 Aug 1943. Fined £1 and loss of 2 day's pay. On 5 Oct 1943 Dorothy was transferred to 6th AWAS, but he next day she was with 7 AWAS.
