On 17 Feb 1930 Norm had married Lilly Amelia Bingham (1911 - 1983) in the local area. Lilly died on 16 Sep 1983, aged 72 in Riverton. H had spent 3 years in the Army Reserve Field Artillery prior to call up. Electoral Roll entry: 1943 at Bunbury road, Armadale, farmer.
