Remarks
She was never commissioned into the US Navy, but was transferred to the Royal Navy on 22 Mar 1943. Under UK control she participated in the:
- Invasion of Sicily;
- Invasion of Reggio;
- Salerno landings;
- Anzio-Nettuno advanced landings;
- Invasion of Normandy; and
- Invasion of Malaya
Prior to being handed back to the US Navy on 1 Jun 1947 she carried Australian BCOF troops from Morotai to Kure in Japan.
