Remarks
Built for the Orient Steam Navigation Co Ltd, London, she could carry a total of 350 passengers in first and second classes, and 500 in third class. Leased by the Commonwealth until 10 Feb 1915, making only one journey before being returned to her owners (a member of the first convoy).
On 12 May 1918, while headed from Marseilles to Alexandria, Omrah was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine UB-52 40 nautical miles (74 km) from Sardinia. One person aboard Omrah died in the attack.
