Remarks
Built for the Ellerman City Line Ltd of Glasgow. She was sold in 1923 to Montgomery W & Co of London before being bought back by Ellerman Lines in 1937. On 18 Dec 1942, on a voyage from Liverpool to Beira with a cargo of military equipment, general and 2.5 million pounds sterling, was wrecked north of Saldanha Bay north of Cape Town, South Africa. No casalties.
