During 1927 Len had married Annie Smith (1905 - 1987) in Perth. Annie died on 9 Feb 1987, aged 82 in Inglewood. They had three children; Priscilla Powell (1927 - 2000); Beryl Jean Powell (1932 - 2003) and Irene Powell ( - 1977)
