On 19 Nov 1933 Bill had married Marjorie Fewster. Marjorie died on 1 Jun 2010 aged 97 in Bayswater.

War Service

On 27 Jan 1942 Bill was called up and commenced full time service from 5 Feb 1942 when he was posted to the 8th Supply Personnel Company. On 23 Mar 1942 he had the day at home under Doctors orders, before being discharged on 3 Apr 1942 in order to join the RAAF.

RAAF where his enlistment commenced on 11 Oct 1942.

Discharged from the RAAF on 19 Jul 1944.
