Remarks
While her original name was Edward McGuire, she was renamed many times (Cape St Vincent; St. Lolan; St. Lolau; Korows) before moving to Australian waters in 1937 before being requisitioned by the RAN and fitted out as an auxiliary minesweeper in September 1939.
KOROWA served throughout WW2, initially from Melbourne, before moving to Fremantle as part of Minesweeping Group 66 patrolling the WA coastline. Returned to her owners in November 1945, she was scrapped in 1954.
Armament - One 12 pounder gun forward; one 20mm Oerlikon cannon; one .303 Vickers Machine gun.
