Brief History
Raised at Naval base in June 1942 as part of the '116th Light Anti Aircraft Regiment with men from the disbanding 107th Anti Tank Regiment, they trained for a mobile role with periods ont he Rockingham Artillery Range. In January 1943 they moved to Cottesloe to man LAA gun positions around Fremantle until April when they moved to rejoin the regiment at Bibra Lake. From may to August they returned to Cottesloe, and then in August to Melville Camp.
