[[File:]]

Brief History

Formed originally as the Western Command Motor Transport Training Depot around December 1941. In April 1942 the unit's name became 3 Aust Corps Motor Transport Training Depot and then in November to WA Line of Communication Area Motor Transport Training Depot in Northam. In March 1943 the name changed once more, this time to 4th Australian Motor Transport Training Depot before being disbanded in June 1944 due to the reduction in troops in Western Australia.
