Pre War
During 1924 Albert had married Bessie Maud Kerridge, and at time of his enlistment they had 4 children under the age of 16 years. The eldest being Stanley Charles (1921 - 2005). Two others were born post WW2.

War Service

On 8 Aug 1943 he again returned to WA on leave, before returning to his unit on 17 Sep 1943, in Queensland. On 2 Mar 1944 he left his unit for the Claremont Leave and Transit Depot where on 14 Mar 1944 he was approved for discharge on the basis of working in an Essential Service (bricks).
