Notes

Known to the Army as May Cardinal, during 1946 Alice May Cardinal married Robert Nicholas Johnstone who had served in the RAN. Robert's widowed mother lived in Carradine road, Armadale. Robert died on 21 Jul 1998, aged 76 in Armadale.
