Pre War
During WW1 Edward served as 50540 Pte Gregson who enlisted on 6 May 1918 as an 18 year old. After early training in Australia and further training in Egypt he was allocated to the Australian Army Medical Corps Details, returning to Australian on 19 Jan 1919.
In 1928 Edward married Rubeana F (Ruby) Cull.
