Florence May Gordon Fancote (nee Hammond) was born on 22 November 1884 in Fremantle.  She was the daughter of Jesse Elijah Hammond (Jesse was well known pioneer, historian and author) and Annie Retta Hammond (nee McKay).

Florence married [[Alexander Fancote]] in 1908 at St. Mary in the Valley Church, Kelmscott.  Florence and Alexander had four children: [[Jack Fancote]] born 1909(died at the age of 13 months), Rhona born 1912, [[Vida May Fancote]] born 1914 (died at the age of 3 months) and Beatrice born 1918 Died in Sydney at her daughter place of North Ryde and is buried at North Ryde Cemetery. They owned two properties one in Collie and Kelmscott. In Collie they were involved with Buckingham Timber mills at Buckingham Mill, Collie.

Florence May Gordon Fancote (nee Hammond) was born on 22 November 1884 in Fremantle. She was the daughter of Jesse Elijah Hammond (Jesse was well known pioneer, historian and author) and Annie Retta Hammond (nee McKay).

Marriage

Florence married Alexander Fancote in 1908 at St. Mary in the Valley Church, Kelmscott.
