War Service

Fred was mobilised 9 Jan 1941 on a part time basis. His father Martin Adolphious Wilton was his NOK at that time. From 30 Sep 1941 Fred was engaged on a full time basis. On 6 Oct 1941 Fred joined the Transport Company from the 44th Battalion as a Corporal. From 30 Sep 1941 on a full time basis. On 19 Mar 1942

Fred was allocated to the 121st Australian Reserve Motor Transport Company. discharged 23 Nov 1945.
