Owned by the British India Steam Navigation Company of Glasgow. Used on the trade routes to the far east from Britain in the late 1920's and 1930's.
The Takada was requisitioned and converted to act as a hospital ship during the war (10 Aug 1915 - 29 Apr 1919)> She also made at least two trips to Australia returning convalescent men soon after the war ended. Scrapped in Belgium in late 1938.
