According to Electoral Rolls, in 1949 Harold lived on Seventh Road Armadale (aged 21). From 1954 - 1963 he lived on McNeil Road Armadale, and it was during this time period Harold married Thelma May Newell (in 1959) with the marriage registered at Perth. From 1968 to 1980 Harold lived at 14 Seventh Road, Armadale.
