18 year old Henry emigrated on the SS Orsova which departed London on 15 Jan 1915, travelling with his parents Robert and Elizabeth. During 1920 Henry married Winifred Constable in Perth.

War Service

On 12 Aug 1941 Henry enlisted with the part time 'Y' (Militia) Company of 5th Australia Garrison Battalion. On 15 Dec 1941 he was called up for full time duty and taken on strength by the 5th Garrison Battalion.
