Early Life
Henry was born at Mount Barker in South Australia on 19 January 1889. He was the son of Henry James Franklin and Hannah Franklin (nee Bugg).
Service Record
Henry enlisted in Perth for service in WW1 in Perth. He also saw service in WW2, enlisting at Calingiri West Australia. His Service No. was W82983
Occupation
According to the electoral roll Henry was employed by the West Australian Government Railways during 1913 and 1914.
Marriage
Henry married Agnes Foster Franklin (nee Knight) in 1917. The marriage was registered in the Plantagenet District. They had 4 children, Eric, Noel, Viola Shirley he possibly had 2 or 3 more children.

According to the electoral roll Henry live at "Lyndale" Orchard Byford in 1949 and 1954. In 1958 he lived at 13 Wheatley Street Gosnells and in 1968 lived at 13 Third Avenue Kelmscott.
Death
Henry died on 29 August 1971 at the age of 83.
