Jean married Edward (Ted) Mezger (also known as Mezgar). Married in Albury NSW in 1946. They had three sons.

Residences

Jean Mezger lived in Fancote Street next door to Jean Fancote. Both Jeans were married to men named Ted. Ted Fancote had sold some land to Ted Mezger who built the family home. The Mezgers lived there for more than 30 years.

Jean was on the flower roster at St Mary's. She was also a very active member of the St Mary's ladies guild.
