Early Life
Leslie Charles, known as Les, was born and raised in Kelmscott.
Marriage
Married Colleen Palmer from Sydney. His wife is a contributor to the Roleystone Courier.
Community Life
Les lived in Roleystone since 1974 and was a community worker with Roleystone Bushcare and the fire warden for Leschenaultia Street. He was involved with the Graffiti Cleaning Group with the City of Armadale. Les was a Member of the Kelmscott History Group and Armadale Brickworks Group involved in saving the Armadale brick quarry. Death
