Early Life

Lily "Lynne" Dorothy Pallett (nee Bennett) was born on 12 October 1914. Lily's parents were George Abraham Bennett and Louisa Bennett. She also had a twin sister Violet Ellen Bennett. Lily was known to have one son, Chris.

Marriage

Her first marriage, to Sidney E Pead, was in Essex East Ham in 1941. Her second marriage to George James Pallett (MBE) was at Essex East Ham in 1950. Lynne and her second husband George came to Australia in 1967 as '10 Pound Poms', settling in Roleystone. They were following daughter Ann (it is believed that Ann was George's daughter from a previous marriage).

According to the electoral roll in 1980, Lily lived at Lot 18 Westborne Road, Roleystone.
