During 1908 in Subiaco, Paul married Kezia Emily Holmes.

War Service
Paul enlisted in the CMF on 27 Feb 1942 at Claremont and was posted to the RAE maintenance staff that were attached to the 110th Australian Base Hospital in Hollywood.
