Remarks
Owned by the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company for the UK to Australia or India services.
In late 1915 she was chartered as an ambulance transport and Australian troopship until March 1916 when she was returned to P & O and then made three voyages to Australia before being requisitioned by the British Admiralty to be refitted as an armed merchant cruiser.
In 1919 as a result of repeated delays in refitting, she was nicknamed HMS Neversail. 1919 - 1930 sailed for P & O on the London/ Bombay/ Adelaide/ Melbourne/ Sydney route. In 1930 she was sold for demolition, arriving in Kobe on 19 Oct 1930.
