Pre War
Enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria. His older brother 69150 Pte Robert Henry Charles Grierson, joined up with him and had the same experiences, but appears to have been born elsewhere in the Perth Metro area.
War Service
Entered service on 23 Aug via the Ascot vale Isolation camp (possible throat infection), at a time of high concern about influenza, before moving to Broadmeadows.
He entered Broadmeadows camp on 2 Sep 1918 and following basic training appears to have been sent to Sydney, as on 7 Nov 1918 he embarked on the SS Carpentaria which was recalled. Reginald was transhipped to the SS Riverina and disembarked in Sydney on 28 Nov 1918.
Discharged at 3rd Military District on 24 Dec 1918 - Demobilisation of the A.I.F.
Post War
Served during WW2 with Regimental No. V358684 from 31 May 1942 to 1 Jul 1943 with the 10th Battalion, Volunteer Defence Corps.
