Ronald Nicholas Charles Jens Selkirk Panton was born on 22 April 1940 to Ronald Charles Selkirk Panton (b.1907 and a war journalist) and Natasha (Natalia) Snessarev. He was reportedly born in an internment camp 'Store Grundet'. Ronald went to boarding school in the UK while his father continued journalism in post-war Germany. His mother Natasha Panton was a journalist in her own right.
Ronald's parents divorced in 1950. Ronald Sr remarried (to Katarin Pugh) and brought his children (including Ronald Jr) and new wife to Australia in the mid-1950s. (Ronald Sr would go on to have more marriages).
Marriage
Ronald Jr seems to have married in 1980, according to his daughter [Pamela] and had three children: a daughter and two sons.
Death
Ronald died aged 69 years on 29 August 2009.
