Remarks

This ship was owned jointly by the Blue Funnel Line and the West Australian Steam Navigation Co. The SS Charon plied the Perth / Western Australian regional ports / Darwin / Singapore run for 20 years before being sold and renamed in 1925 as Yuan Lee.


In 1935 she was sold again, and renamed King Lee, and after another sale, Wing Fook. In 1941 she was named Iris, and then in 1947 sold a last time and renamed Hsiang Hsing. The ship was wrecked at Keelung Harbour on 7 Mar 1950 and broken up for scrap.
