Remarks
Built for the UK to India / China route and owned by Peninsular & Orient Steam Navigation Co. who operated her until she was requisitioned and taken under the control of the Admiralty from 16 Sep 1914 - 1919 for use in the Mediterranean as a troop ship before being converted as a hospital ship in April 1915.
In 1919 she was again converted to carry troops and in 1919 she was released to her owners who continued to use her until 22 May 1925 when she was laid up. She was sold for scrap in March 1928.
