Built for the UK to India / China route and owned by Peninsular & Orient Steam Navigation Co.
Requisitioned on 16 Sep 1914 as used in the Mediterranean as a troop ship before becoming a hospital ship in April 1915.
Reconverted in 1919 to a troopship again, she was sold for scrap in March 1928.
