Early Life
Sarah Jane James (nee Marsh) was born in c1869 and registered at Perth. She was the daughter of Edward Marsh and Jane Marsh (nee Sherwood).
Marriage
Sarah married Thomas James in 1896 at Perth. They had six children; Victor George, Edward Stanley, Eric Deakin, Ella Victoria, Angus Sherwood and Alice Doreen.
Electoral Rolls
According to the electoral roll in 1931 she lived in Armadale.
Community Involvement
During WW1, Sarah was the president of the Armadale Branch of the Red Cross Foundation. She was also a foundation member of St. Matthew's Church.
Death
Sarah died at the age of 67 years on 17 February 1936.
