His mother Mrs. Mary Anderson registered as another next of kin. His Military Card in 1944 registered him living at 65 Clarence Street Mr. Lawley, Military Record - WX7125.
Marriage
In 1938 Sydney married Kathleen Pettit and divorced her in 1945. In 1946 he then married Dorothy Sarah Anderson (nee Solly).

According to the electoral rolls, Sydney lived at Leonora, in 1954 at 17 Penguin Road Safety Bay and in 1958 at the Exchange Hotel in Pinjarra.
Occupation
In Leonora Sydney's job was Hotelkeeper and in 1958 as a Hotel Manager in Pinjarra. Sydney died on 23 November 1969 at the age of 58.
