==Brief History==
Originally known as the '''Western Command Training Depot AAMC''' the unit was to go through four name changes before it was disbanded in October 1943, having been called to full time service in December 1941. The unit in its many variations operated at Northam, (WA) training soldiers for medical units. In May 1942 it was renamed to '''Western Australia Line of Communication Area Training Depot AAMC''', and in November when training units were standardised it changed to '''10th AAMC Training Company'''. It later had been temporarily called '''3rd AAMC Training Battalion''', despite a Victorian unit having the same name. A month later in April 1943 it was renamed '''3rd AAMC Training Company'''. In October 1943, with the centralisation of AAMC training at Mt Darley in Victoria, the unit moved there and was disbanded.
