Arrival in Australia
George Beales came to Australia in 1923 with his family and settled in Roleystone. The Beales' family property (an orchard) was named 'Keithfield', after the street that they formerly lived on in Nottingham, England.
George died only a year after arriving in Roleystone, at the age of 49.
