Grecian enlisted at Paddington in New South Wales on 27 Feb 1945, aged 18. She was posted to General Reinforcements, and undertook training at the 2nd AWS Training Company. On 10 Apr 1945 she was posted to the Royal Military College Duntroon and was promoted Acting Cororal on 16 Jul 1945, employed as a Trade Group 3 Clerk.
On 8 Aug 1946 she was admitted to the RMC Hospital with measels, and was released to duty on 22 AUg 1946. In August 1946 her NOK adress changed to Roleystone, WA. On 7 Jan 1947 recian was posted to Western Command Recruit Reception & General Details Depot to undertake her discharge on 28 Jan 1947.
