Pre War
Electoral Roll entry: 1943 at Pemberton, timber worker. On 28 Dec 1940, in Williams, William married Margaret 'Hilda' Eliza Brown (1904 - 1989). Hilda died on 6 Aug 1989 in Applecross.
War Service
On 4 May 1042 at Pemberton, Bill was accepted into the 14th (Karri) VDC Battalion .On 31 Jul 1944 he and the rest of his unit were placed in the Reserve, to be formally wound up on 15 Oct 1945.
