Remarks

Laid down on 3 Oct 1944, she was launched on 8 Nov 1944 and completed on 17 Nov 1944. On 26 Jan 1945 she appeared at Munus Island and from then to the end of WW2 she carried cargo and occassionally troops between islands to the norths and east of New Guinea before her final trip in Australian controlled waters when she departed for Leyte Gulf on 19 July.


SS Clarence Roberts was sold for scrap in 1964 ans she was finally scrapped at Philadelphia in December 1971.
