In 1933 or 1934 Dora attended the Serpentine Primary School.

War Service

On 19 Jul 1943 Dora enlisted as a Canteed Stewardess trade group IV at No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre in Perth and was immediately sent to No. 3 WAAAF Training Depot RAAF at Karrinup to undertake No. 19 Recruit Drill Course.
