On 14 Dec 1942 she was transferred to he 2nd RAE Training Centre at Northam. On 2 Aug 1943 she transferred to the 6th AWS Training Company before moving to the 10th Australian CRE (Works) on 6 Aug 1943.
On 14 Aug 1943 she was admitted to the 1st Australian Women's Hospital, returning to her unit on 19 Aug 1943. As she had completed 12 month's service she received a pay increase. On 10 Jan 1944 she was transferred to the 1st Royal Australian Engineers Training Centre at Kapooka in New South Wales, arriving there on 18 January. On 15 Apr 1944 she transferred to the unit staff, and on 18 Nov 1944 at Wagga Wagga she married QX22999 Sgt Stanley Charles Vinc Dittman from HQ RAE Training Centre.
