Pre War

In 1933 or 1934 Dora attended the Serpentine Primary School.

War Service

On 19 Jul 1943 Dora enlisted as a Canteed Stewardess trade group IV at No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre in Perth and was immediately sent to No. 3 WAAAF Training Depot RAAF at Karrinup to undertake No. 19 Recruit Drill Course. On 26 Aug 1943 she was posted to No. 4 Service Flying Training School RAAF at Geraldton, remaining there for 12 months before being transferred to No. 4 Stores Depot RAAF at Maylands on 26 Jul 1944. On 14 Aug 1944 she transferred to No. 10 Stores Depot RAAF at Merredin.


With the war winding down, Dora was posted to the Staff of No. 5 Personnel Depot RAAF in Perth on 1 May 1945 where she was promoted Acting Corporal. From 10 to 21 Sep 1945 she was detached to the No. 77 Operational Base Unit at Dunreath before returning to the Stores Depot. Finally on 15 Mar 1946 Dora was posted to No. 5 Personnel Depot RAAF in Perth to prepare for discharge which occurred on 1 Apr 1946.

Post War

During 1946 Dora married Stanley E Moses in Perth. During 1999 she made application to receive her medals.
