Early Life

Beales was born in Nottingham and emigrated to Australia with his parents and siblings in 1923, settling in Roleystone, at the age of 21. His middle name of 'Walker' was in honour of his paternal grandmother, Eliza Aitken Beales (nee Walker).

Married Delores Canaletich of Roleystone on 15 March, 1926. [1] The couple had a son named Brian Beales.

Community Contribution

Beales was a founding member and first President of the Roleystone-Karragullen Cricket Club, suggesting the formation of the club in March 1950 and providing 12 pounds in funding to go towards equipment.[2]
