Trevor was a Cadet in the Air Training Corps ''No. 5 Wings No. 79 Squadron'' from 6 Jun 1943 until he enlisted in the RAAF proper. He had been promoted to Leading Cadet on 20 Sep 1944. Prior to enlistment Trevor was working for the Post Master General's Department (PMG) as a Telegraaph Messenger. War Service
