War Service

On 22 Mar 1942 Reg enlisted in the Volunteer Defence Corps at Armadale and was allocated to the [[2nd (Fremantle} VDC Battalion]]'s 'D' Company where on 7 Jan 1943 he was appointed Lance Corporal. On 9 Jul 1943 he was promoted to Corporal, and on 8 Sep 1944 to Sergeant. On 1 May 1945 Reg and the rest of his unit was placed on the Reserve.
