War Service
Allan enlisted in the RAAF on 22 Oct 1940 at the No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre, and was posted to No.1 Recruit Depot RAAF the same day to undertake No. 310 Recruit Drill course. On 24 Nov 1940 he was posted to No. 1 School of Technical Training RAAF to participate in the No. 11 Group II Fitters course.
