His next posting was on 15 Oct 1942 to the [[No. 2 Mobile Works Squadron RAAF]] where he spent most of his time in uniform. While with them Emlyne was appointed Leading Aircraftman from 1 Mar 1943, reverted to Aircraftman on 24 Sep 1943 when he remusterd as a Fitter General, and was again appointed Leading Aircraftman on 1 Jan 1944.
